Hardcopy book update

The printer informed me they didn't have enough books -- which didn't make sense, since they printed more than they needed.
It turns out they were going to ship multiple copies to everyone. (If you ordered 5 books, they were going to ship 5 copies of each book. If you ordered 8, you would have gotten 8 of each.)
This is, of course, insanely incompetent. And I will never use them for a Kickstarter campaign again.
If I can't get the shipping straightened out tomorrow, I'll have the books sent to me and ship them myself. My apologies for the delays. Shipping WILL be solved one way or another this week.

The printer held up shipping without telling me. I finally asked where the books were, since they hadn't started arriving yet, and got a "Oh, we haven't shipped them yet - did you want us to ship them now?"
WTF???
I think the smart employees are on vacation.
I let my account rep know in no uncertain terms that the books need to ship IMMEDIATEDLY. As in IMMEDIATELY. NOW. RIGHT NOW.
Stupidity. Sheer stupidity.

Book Things Coming To You

Hi everyone, in case you didn't see John's update, the paperback and hardcover editions of the book have been approved and will begin shipping soon. The leatherbound editions are produced in a different bindery so they will be a little longer. I'm sure everyone is used to supply chain delays at this point, but our printers are doing an excellent job and you are going to love the finished books.
Also, as a reminder the digital rewards have all been sent out. We hope you are enjoying them! If you haven't received yours yet, please be sure to double check your email.

Digital Rewards Released! Audiobooks, Ebooks, Soundtrack, more!

Please check your email. I have (I hope!) released all the digital rewards correctly, and everyone due anything digital (including ebooks, audiobooks, soundtrack, etc.) should be receiving an email from Backerkit. (If you don't get it, check your spam filters.) You should also be able to log into Backerkit, check your account, and download from your digital locker.
The distribution process was long, non-intuitive, and quite confusing. I think I got it right, but if I got your order wrong, my apologies -- just send me a private message here at Kickstarter. I will review everything and get it sorted out properly on Monday.
I will post another update about the paper books next week, when I check with the printer again. The end is in sight!
Don't forget to download the soundtrack. Diversicat did a great job on the music/singing. Some great rock and blues tunes. I wrote the lyrics for 4 of the songs. (And no, they won't let me sing. I can't carry a tune.) Free plug: check out Diversicat's music at Spotify, Apple Music, and other streaming services. They do (mostly) sci-fi and horror-themed music.
